CONVERSATIONS FOR CHANGE
Linguistic discrimination in education: experiences and perceptions
TOMORROW Thursday, Nov 9th from 12:45-1:45 in V-6520

Have you ever experienced linguistic discrimination? Chances are that, as a second language user, you have. In fact, even native speakers experience it. So, what is it and what can we do about it? Join us for an informative and open discussion about linguistic discrimination and how we experience and address it in our own lives.
Evelyne Potvin-Cloutier is a second language user and a graduate student at UQAM whose research explores the phenomenon of linguistic discrimination in educational settings. Join us in learning how we can all become agents for positive change!
