What is the CLIC Student Group?
The CLIC (Culture, Language, Identity, Community) Student Group is a unique initiative. All participants actively shape the group’s key activities. Unlike a traditional internship or classroom setting, the CLIC Student Group is not an organization you “work for” — you are the CLIC, and your efforts drive its success.
Some of our main activities include:
- Leading Conversation Circles: Student members facilitate discussions in English to help build a supportive and inclusive space for language learners.
- Organizing The CLIC Talk Series student conference: A conference for students, by students! Members promote and execute a conference that celebrates diversity, cultural awareness, and community.
CLIC members work together with coordinators who are on hand to assist in and guide these projects.
What You’ll Gain from Being a CLIC Member
Other activities, such as contributing to the CLIC website, participating in the CLIC Talk Series, or exploring creative projects, are optional opportunities to enhance your experience.
